Side note to all TX BBQ restaurants; you should definitely offer Lone Star Beer and/or Shiner Bock, but you should never, ever, serve Bud Light with TX BBQ; it's insulting to the meat.
Service great. Salad is amazing. Beans were a little too spicy for my taste and the brisket was a little bland but overall it was good. I recommend it and I will return if I'm ever in the area again.
Great variety on menu, something for everyone. Best items are their jalepeno buns for their sandwiches and burgers, salad bar with big chunks of real ham and potatoes of free beans!!
The atmosphere is great, the decor and service were charming and friendly. The beans were really good. Unfortunately the BBQ is just good. In Texas, BBQ is one of three things: good, great, or euphoric. I have had BBQ all across the state, some of it is well worth driving out of your way for, Smokey Bros is worth stopping at if you're traveling through the area, but it's not worth a special trip. To be clear, it is good BBQ, but it's not great BBQ, and it's a long way from euphoric.
Very friendly atmosphere. Ordered 3 meat ribs,brisket, and sausage. For the price thought the portions were very slim. To me the brisket was cooked well but lacked seasoning. The sausage was ok. The ribs were excellent. Just very skimpy portion for the price
Food was excellent, my husband just was upset that didn't get but two small slices of brisket on two meat plate! Service was fine. Neat place would stop here again!
