Decent motel. Clean, no sign of bedbugs. Great for the price.
Exactly what you'd expect from a hotel in a very small town. Rooms are a little less than $70 per night. WiFi is great. Linens are clean. Room is moderate ly clean. (What are those big sorts on the carpet?) Breakfast is a selection of three dry cereals, milk, and coffee. What do you expect from a small town hotel?
Room was dirty, but had new bathroom fixtures, yet missing electrical outlet cover next to bed and outlet was right against bed and sheets. Huge fire hazard. Lobby smelled bad, like bad curry (I'm being literal, not hateful here). Breakfast options were the kinds of cereal and that is it. Wi-Fi worked though. Bit of a mixed experience. We came in around 10 pm and had called an hour beforehand. When we called the young man would not take a card for reservation over then phone stating they had plenty of rooms with king beds. When we arrived had to ring the doorbell and knock on the door for several minutes before he came out in his socks and checked me in. Find that they no longer had any king bed rooms. Instead gave me a room with two double beds. Worked out fine, but not what was promised and kinda unprofessional. Also seemed like he might be high when he was on the phone. He may have just been tired, but the thought crossed my mind. Very mixed bag with this place.
The unfriendly young man at the front desk couldn't bother wearing shoes when letting us in the lobby one evening. AC unit and bathroom vent were disgusting. We were in a pinch since it's the middle of nowhere so couldn't exactly go elsewhere. For the price, we've had much cleaner and updated stays at other motels.
I don't usually write reviews but, This motel was bad enough that If felt I had to.The bathroom was filthy, worms crawling around toilet, floor did not appear to have been cleaned in quite some time. The tub was brown with built up dirt. Toilet was not clean. Air conditioner was not functioning well either. I personally would not recommend this motel based on my experience.
